Alfredo Perez, known as BB Inc. within the Latin entertainment industry, was born in the capital of the Dominican Republic.As a young man clad with tattoos and armed with a vision, BB Inc. was determined to pursue his passion for film. He earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration at INTEC University in the Dominican Republic. His parents planned for him to follow in their footsteps and become a professor. But that with his ambition to become a visionary, he decided to take another path.
From his first visit to a film set, BB Inc. became more definite of his career path. Being a part of the action on set only confirmed any doubts he had about pursuing film. He realized he was meant to sit in the Director’s chair. In early 2005, BB Inc. bought his first professional video camera. He began learning the in’s and out’s of various professional video sets for international artists such as: Pharrell, Robin Thicke and Benzino.
All of his hard work paid off as he caused a buzz in his home country, gaining recognition from urban artists such as Vakeró Lapiz Conciente, for whom he directed pioneering music videos in the young music industry. BB Inc. received various forms of recognition for his work as the “Top Urban Director” in the Dominican Republic. He drew attention from platinum recording artist “Max Agende” (from the internationally renowned group Aventura). BB Inc. worked on Agende’s musical proposal “Max Musick”, being brought on board on six different occasions to direct six music videos.
Bridging his career from New York to Puerto Rico was his encounter with Full Records, for whom he began to exclusively direct all of the music videos for the record label’s artist roster, such as: Arcangel,Yaga y Mackie and Ñengo Flow. BB, Inc.’s affiliation with Full Records gained him recognition with other Puerto Rican artists, particularly the interest of internationally cross- over acclaimed recording artist, Daddy Yankee. In 2009, Yankee contracted him as the film director for his entire concert tour throughout the Dominican Republic over the next year. Later on in his career, BB, Inc. crossed paths with another international cross-over artist, Don Omar. BB, Inc. was signed on to direct Don Omar and his label artists’ documentary.
BB Inc. took the initiative to travel to Barcelona, Spain where he studied and took courses in television, film direction and production. Upon completing these courses, BB Inc. furthered his education studying at the New York Film Academy emphasizing on Film Direction.
Currently. BB, Inc. has dedicated much of his time writing and constructing the script for his an online drama series entitled “El Triangulo.” The gangster drug dealing story line series has gained notoriety within the urban Latin market online within theDominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Columbia and other South American counties. BB, Inc. and his production team are now focusing on taking the brand to new heights by filming season two and possibly releasing a film based on the series’ story line in the future.
